The rate of UK’s economic recovery picked up momentum throughout early 2015. As such Pareto Law believes that it’s never been better to enter the UK job market.
Timing is everything in the jobs market

A talented, skilled graduate armed with a degree can do achieve great things. Yet timing is everything in the jobs market. Apply for your chosen profession when its fortunes are on the rise and you’re more likely to secure the vacancy. New data suggests that fortunes are up across the board right now.
UK economy set to expand
Recently the Telegraph reported that the UK economy is set to record a growth rate of 0.6% for the first quarter of 2015. In comparison the economy expanded by a rate of 0.5% in the first quarter of 2014.
This conclusion was reached by Markit, a global financial information and services firm. They combined surveys concerning the services, manufacturing and construction sectors. They noted in particular that the dominant services industry has recorded strong growth. It did so because increased confidence spurred a number of new businesses to open in the sector, creating more jobs that led to higher growth volumes. Indeed jobs rose at their sharpest rate within the services industry for 20 years – since records began.
“Job creation has been running at one of the strongest rates on record.”
Chris Williamson, chief economist at Markit commented on the company’s prediction. Williamson said that “the UK economy is on course for yet another robust performance in the first quarter, with growth set to accelerate from the slowdown seen late last year.”
He went on to say: “The surveys also show that job creation has been running at one of the strongest rates on record so far this year, a tightening of the labour market which looks set to drive pay growth higher in coming months.”
More opportunities for the ambitious graduate
Companies across the UK are operating in a more favourable economic environment than they were a year ago. This is leading them to take on more members of staff. In other words, there are more opportunities to take advantage of for the ambitious graduate looking to enter the jobs market.
